Permanent employee

Job Description

The Junior Fundraising Officer supports the day-to-day operations of FSD’s fundraising department and reports directly to the Fundraising Manager. This includes coordinating material requests, organising orders in a cost-effective manner, tracking inventory, monitoring expenses linked to the allocated budget, managing fundraising mail dispatch, and preparing data extracts for internal needs. The role may also support the development of communications and collaterals for agencies.

In collaboration with the Fundraising Manager and the Head of Fundraising,
the employee contributes to donor acquisition and retention efforts, including identifying and qualifying potential partners for direct marketing and street fundraising activities, supporting partnership prospecting, preparing outreach materials, monitoring campaign performance, and contributing to the implementation of donor retention and cultivation campaigns. The role also participates in fundraising and communication meetings, reports on relevant KPIs, and supports other fundraising-related activities as required by management.
